Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner Bentley's coachbuilding unit bespoke, has designed a distinctive keycase to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bentley brand. It is made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes the flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an original 1930s booklet that features never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

This is the ideal method to welcome a brand new vehicle owner.

As a design-driven company, Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. It is evident in the precise location of its quilting the choice of leather sourced from the by-products of cattle, timber from forests that are sustainably managed and the ingenious patterns that are etched on its levers. A car like the Continental GT W12 beckons as you walk up to it with its striking sculptural appeal and power by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever built. Its rear tonneau for instance, displayed the largest piece of book-matched, dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to the production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after brand in the automotive industry in the world because of its distinctive design and workmanship. The company continues to push the boundaries using the most advanced technologies and craftsmanship. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof and a handcrafted Apple iPad docking station.

A century since its founding, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of conflict with BMW - celebrated its centenary in the year 2019. Prior to the pandemic plan taking place, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to mark this milestone event.

bentley car keys  is known for its lavish and extravagant cars, but even keys are designed to make a statement. The Bentayga key is made of sterling silver. It has an oversized 'B' logo that let everyone know that you're driving a Bentley. The key is also embossed with the dates 1919 and 2019, to mark the company’s centenary.

The Mulsanne was redesigned and developed by Bentley Mulliner, to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. The rear seats are designed to offer passengers unparalleled comfort and privacy. They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. A customized heating, air conditioning, and ventilation system has been developed to ensure each passenger has the ideal temperature control.

The Mulsanne is equipped with twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This incredible power is complemented with a new suspension system which provides Bentley's renowned smooth ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a bespoke specification known as the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. This includes cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests as well as the seats and other parts of the car. This enhances the celebration. A custom Bentley key case is included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key has buttons that open the trunk and another that can start the car. It also has a switch to turn on the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parking in a tight area. This feature helps you get into and out of your vehicle.

Each key takes two days to make. It is hand cut, shaped, sewn, sealed, and polished to produce the highest-quality finish. It is strong, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is akin to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a premium feel.

It also comes with Secure-A-Key which prevents theft of keys that are keyless. This device is put inside the remote-control key fob, and is turned off after a few minutes of inactivity. This prevents thieves from transmitting the frequency of the key to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive style reflects the firm's values of high-quality craftsmanship and engineering expertise. It also includes cutting-edge technology. Over 4,000 employees work at its Crewe headquarters, responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley automobiles. These workers apply techniques passed over generations and then apply them to cutting-edge automotive technology. This is a characteristic of British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers create their own car. Guests sit at a series of images called "mood stations" and select a series of photos ranging from picturesque views to sporting events that can inspire them. Each time a selection is made the pattern that emerges reveals the model of the Bentley, as well as the color and style preferences for the personalized Bentley.

The configuration that is created is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys, which are presented to guests in a custom key case.  bentley car keys  can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the pathway of the door opening with the owner's name or logo as they approach the car.

Bentley claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a conscious refusal to adopt the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not use a machine to space perfectly matched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Instead of using the car's built-in sensors to guide it to parallel and perpendicular parking spaces drivers must do it manually.

In the course of the event, Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization options with one particular example - the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to founder William Osler Bentley. The limited-edition cars come with one key that features an image of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
